We have failed over our load balancer, and all has restored to normal. We will be implementing more of our improved network design from November by the end of the week as a permanent fix.

Investigating

We are experiencing an increased SSL handshake failure rate with the API that collects data from devices. Mobile devices will cache data locally while we resolve the issue.
