US-02 Database Maintenance Mar 3, 23:00 - Mar 4, 01:00 EST
Braze will be performing a database upgrade on Wednesday, Mar 3rd, 2021 from 23:00 ET to Thursday, Mar 4th, 2021 01:00 ET for our US-02 cluster. The database will be taken offline during the upgrade which will result in a delay in the availability of Email and SMS analytics on our dashboard services. Once the database upgrade is completed the analytic events for Email and SMS will be backfilled. Other components such as data processing, message sending, currents exports, etcetera will not be impacted by this work. We will keep this status page updated in the event of any issues during this upgrade.

Our systems indicate SMS sending has resumed, and we're working through the backlog of messages.

We'll continue to actively monitor and partner with our SMS vendor to validate and ensure a return to a healthy state.

Update - We can confirm that SMS sending is currently delayed while our downstream SMS provider resolves the issue. All messages are queued for automatic retry and will send once the incident is resolved.

We are still investigating the impact of this incident to our other services.
